DID YOU KNOW?

In 1898, St. Paul Mayor Andrew Kiefer gave his private office to the library to serve as a children’s room.

Today, the Central Library and each of the twelve branches has an area just for children. Together, they have more than 400,000 items for babies through teens in a variety of languages and formats.
