2007 marks Saint Paul Public Library's 125th year of service to the community. Celebrate all year long with parties at every branch, a chance to share your memories of the library, and other special events.
History
The first Rice Street branch of the Saint Paul Public Library opened on March 1, 1952. It was located just south of the present building.
Fifty years later, the building at the present location,
1011 Rice St., was opened in 2002.
