The Sun Ray Library was built in 1970, and is the City's easternmost library.
The Library was renovated in 1985.
In 2000, the library was re-carpeted and repainted as the Materials Management Center (MMC) was added to the building. The MMC serves as the Library's central processing, shipping, and distribution point for library materials.
