Eco Fun For Kids

SAINT PAUL (March 7, 2011) - Saint Paul Public Library is hosting several creative art workshops for kids this spring. All events are free and are sponsored by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.

At "Jewelry from Junk" kids ages five to ten can discover ways to recycle and re-purpose shiny odds and ends to make jewelry at Riverview Library, 1 E. George St., St. Paul on April 22 at 2 p.m. 651-292-6626. Presented by ArtStart.

At "Larvae Love" kids ages six to ten build habitats, explore nature, and make their own insects at 11 a.m. on April 23 at Rondo Library, 461 Dale St. N. 651-266-7400. Presented by Leonardo's Workshop.
