Hold lockers are available in the RiverCentre connection tunnel at the George Latimer Central Library. You can pick up your requested library items here.
The tunnel is open from 6:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m., every day.
Here's how to use the hold lockers:
1. Get a library card
As with any of the other libraries in Saint Paul, you're going to need a library card. Go to your nearest library to sign up for your free card.
2. Request items online
Search for items in the library catalog. When requesting an item, choose "Tunnel Hold Locker Central" as your pickup location.
3. Get notified when items are available
The library will send an e-mail or call you when your materials are placed in the hold locker. Items are checked out to you at the time they are placed in the locker. You have five days to pick them up.
4. Pick up your items
To pick up your items, go to the kiosk at the locker station and follow the instructions on the screen. Swipe your library card through the reader or enter the last 7 digits of your library card on the keypad. The door to the locker with your items will pop open. Your items are already checked out, so all you need to do is take them out of the locker and shut the door.
Return your items to any Saint Paul Public Library. Items cannot be returned to a locker.
