Volunteers are an essential ingredient to Saint Paul Public Library's service to customers. Volunteers give their time and their diverse talents to support professional staff in providing high quality customer service at all of our library branches.
How to Volunteer
If you are 12 years or older you may apply to be a volunteer at SPPL, by contacting Wendy Neurer, the Volunteer Coordinator, at 651-266-7420 or at wendy.neurer@ci.stpaul.mn.us for an application and to discuss volunteer opportunities. An interview will be scheduled, discussing time commitments, skills, and interests.
Minors must have written parental/guardian permission. A variety of short-term and on-going volunteer projects are available. An average volunteer commitment is two hours a week for a six month period. There are many positions which complement different schedules, skills, and interests.
