Storytimes are about so much more than stories! They can include puppets, songs, and toys. You'll learn engaging ways to prepare your child for reading and kindergarten. We offer storytimes for all ages, including babies, as well as storytimes in a variety of languages.
Younger and older siblings are always welcome at storytimes!

Types of Storytimes
Designed for our youngest group of listeners, baby storytime can include the whole family. Storytimes last about 20 minutes and feature stories, flannelboards, songs, puppets, and fingerplays. Active participation by adults and children in a baby storytime encourages mutual enjoyment.
Toddler storytimes last about 30 minutes and include stories, songs, flannelboards, fingerplays, and other developmentally appropriate activities with adult participation.
These storytimes consist of 30 to 40 minutes of stores, songs, flannelboards, fingerplays, and other activities.
Youngsters may wear pajamas and bring a stuffed "friend" to experience a variety of stories, flannelboards, songs, and other activities. Library bedtime storytimes last about 30 minutes.
World Language Storytimes
Storytimes in Amharic, Hmong, Karen, Mandarin Chinese, Oromo, Somali, and Spanish.
