Tap the green "Check Out" button to check out the book. If the book is currently checked out, tap the gray "Add to Hold List" button to place the book on your Hold List.

Reading on Your Computer
Under the Currently Reading section of My Books, click on the book cover to open it.
The first time you open a book, Cloud Library needs to activate an Adobe ID.
If you do not have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer, you will be given the option of using a system-provided Adobe ID or using your own. Make your choice and click "OK" to proceed.
If you already have Adobe Digital Editions installed on your computer authorized with your personal Adobe ID, the Cloud Library app will use your personal ID to continue. You will see this message:
The book will open in a 5th tab, to the right of "My Books":
Use the arrows on the right and left of the book's pages to move through the books.

- Sony Reader (older models only, not the PRS-T1)
- Kobo Reader
You can hold up to 10 books at a time. When a book becomes available, a message will appear in your Message Center under My Books. Books are held for 72 hours (3 days) from the time they become available to you.
Add to Wish List
As you browse the catalog, you may see some books listed under "Similar Books" that are titles not in the Saint Paul Public Library collection. Click "Add to Wish List" to add the item to your wish list and send a message to the library's selectors asking them to purchase the title.
E-books are automatically returned to the collection at the end of their check-out period. They cannot be checked in early using the PC or Mac app.
