Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP)

The AmeriCorps CTEP is a new, innovative initiative that will bridge the "digital divide" in Minneapolis and St. Paul urban neighborhoods, targeting the unique technology access needs of new immigrants and low-income residents.

CTEP workers:

  • Help community members access their technology capacities.
  • Offer computer workshops at a St. Paul Public Library Homework Center for community members.
  • work at Saint Paul Public Library Homework Centers, attend training sessions, and work on group projects

CTEP is looking for people who are self-starters, innovators and interested in diverse communities. Workers must be at least 18 years old, and able to commit to a one year contract.

Bilingual applicants who can speak Hmong, Somali, or Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.
