Volunteer

The success of the Saint Paul Public Library's Homework Centers depends on the dedication and hard work of our interns and volunteers.

Do you want to make an impact on a student's life? Become a volunteer tutor at a Homework Center and make a real difference!

Be a tutor by helping, listening, and serving as a positive role model. Tutors must be patient, flexible, willing to have fun, and be able to communicate with the library's diverse customers.

Intern

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to assist students, oversee volunteer tutors, and manage the daily operation of a homework center.

Homework Center Interns work closely with Homework Center Coordinators and library employees running the day to day operation.

A time commitment of 8-12 hours per week for 4 months is required.

The internship is unpaid. Training and mandatory criminal background checks are provided.
