The Hayden Heights branch is home to the library's auto repair collection including:
- Books and Manuals
- Motor Auto Repair Manuals , vintage car editions 1935-1953 & 1953-1961, and 1976-present as individual manuals
- Chilton manuals - 1940 (roughly by decade through 1980), then annually 1980-present
- American shop manuals 1960-present including wiring diagrams(start dates vary with maker)*
- Hollander Interchange manuals - 1977 to present*
- Mitchell manuals - 1977 to present
- Haynes and Chilton manuals - domestic and imports/various by make and years
- Also how-to books on customizing, upholstery, bodywork and more; histories of car makers; and a small collection of owner’s manuals*
- Online/computer resources
- All Data Online database (covers vehicles made between 1982-present, with wiring diagrams. Make printouts for 5 cents per page)
- Mitchell OnDemand database (covers vehicles made between 1983-present, with wiring diagrams. Make printouts for 5 cents per page)
* Items that may only be used in the library—photocopier available, 15 cents per copy.

The Hayden Heights Branch Library is located at 1456 White Bear Avenue, at the intersection of Nevada and White Bear Avenues.
Driving Directions
From the east, take I-94 to the White Bear Avenue exit. Turn right onto White Bear Avenue and proceed north for approximately 3 miles to Arlington Avenue. The library is on the right side of the street in the middle of the next block.
From the west, take I-94 to the White Bear Avenue exit. Turn left onto White Bear Avenue and proceed north for approximately 3 miles to Arlington Avenue. The library is on the right side of the street in the middle of the next block.
