September 15, 2006 Meet the New Library DirectorThe new director of Saint Paul Public Library, Melanie Huggins, will visit every neighborhood library in Saint Paul throughout October and November to meet with the library’s community. “I’m very interested in sharing what is on the horizon for the library, and I also want to hear from the community,” said Huggins. “We want to know what the community wants its library to be. Everyone is welcome to come and share their ideas.” Melanie Huggins will make a short presentation and an informal discussion will follow at the following library locations: October 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Arlington Hills Branch, 1105 Greenbrier St. October 5 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Dayton’s Bluff Branch, 645 East 7th St. October 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at St. Anthony Park Branch, 2245 Como Ave. October 11 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Central Library, 90 W. 4th St. October 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Rice Street Branch, 1011 Rice St. October 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Riverview Branch, 1 E.
