Library Card Design Contest

In 2007 Saint Paul Public Library celebrates its 125th anniversary of service in the community and will kick off the year-long celebration with a new library card design – with a little help from Saint Paul kids and teens!

Contest entry forms are available at every Saint Paul Public Library location and can be downloaded from the library’s Web site at www.sppl.org. Young artists can turn their artwork along with their contest entry form in to any branch on or before January 17, 2007.

The top finalists will have their entries displayed on the Library’s Web site and at Central Library, and the finalists, along with their friends and families will be invited to a reception at Central Library in February where the winners will be announced. The winning designs, chosen by Mayor Chris Coleman, will be on Saint Paul Public Library cards beginning in late February.
