Puppet Rampage 2007 Comes to Central Library

SAINT PAUL- Central Library, 90 West Fourth Street, Saint Paul, will be home to marionettes this summer. Alan Cook, curator for the Conservatory of Puppetry Arts in Pasadena, California (COPA), will display his marionette exhibit at the library from June 25 through July 23.

On Wednesday, June 27 Cook will give a free presentation on famous American puppeteers at noon on the 4th floor of Central Library with a reception following.

Woodland Puppets will present Lemonade, a puppet show for children and their families,at 2:00 p.m. that same day in the Children's Room of the Central Library.

Saint Paul Public Library is hosting these puppetry programs in partnership with Puppet Rampage 2007, the Puppeteers of America National Festival held at Concordia University this summer from July 17-22.
