Judy Hoffman Named Saint Paul Public Library Volunteer of the Year

Judy Hoffman, volunteer of the year 2007The Saint Paul Public Library named Judy Hoffman as its 2007 Volunteer of the Year. Hoffman was presented the award at the Saint Paul Public Library's Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner April 25.

Judy Hoffman was a Saint Paul Public Library staff member for 17 years and immediately started volunteering for the Outreach Office after her retirement in 2003.

“Judy has spent countless hours, thoughts and dollars to enhance Saint Paul Public Library services and programs for children, teens and adults,” said Wendy Neurer, Volunteer Coordinator. “Judy stands in a class of her own as a creative library crafter and volunteer!”

Hoffman helps with supportive materials for special events that include grand openings, bookfairs, booksales, volunteer recognition events and story times. She is valued for her years of a "can do spirit" and creative talents to present library programs and services for all ages.

Within the last year, Hoffman volunteered 8 to 20 hours a week. Her selfless service continues to positively impact Saint Paul Communities.
