Many of Minnesota's high schools offer Dual Credit programs that allow qualifying students to earn college credit while still in high school at little or no cost. Dual Credit programs are a great way for high school students to challenge themselves academically, earn college credit, and save time and money.
Get Ready Program
Get Ready is offered through the Minnesota Office of Higher Education. Get Ready prepares students from low income and underrepresented families with resources that assist students in preparing, selecting, and paying for college. Apply during your sophomore year and begin as a junior.

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is an in-school academic support program and college readiness program prepares students for college admission and success. Students with average GPA’s are placed in Advanced Placement courses and receive personal support from AVID staff. Speak with your guidance counselor to learn more about this program.
