Debra S. Fish Early Childhood Resource Library
About
[3]Think Small [4] is home to a unique library collection dedicated to the early childhood field, the Debra S. Fish Early Childhood Library [5].
The collection is part of the Saint Paul Public Library system's catalog [6] and is available through the statewide virtual library, MnLINK at https://www.mnlinkgateway.org [7].
The Debra S. Fish Library contains over 4,000 exceptional early childhood materials for adults on early childhood care and education. They are designed to assist in providing a stimulating, child-centered curriculum based on sound theory. The agency's publishing division, Redleaf Press, is represented in the collection, as are many other materials, such as training DVDs; curriculum and materials approved by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Parent Aware, and others; story kits; business resources for child care professionals; books on parenting, child development, and early literacy; Shaken Baby Syndrome and SIDS materials required for certification, and much more. Many of the resources are available in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, and other languages.
