Computer and Internet Classes

The Saint Paul Public Library offers a variety of classes to help our customers use Library tools, learn the basics of word processing, or navigate the world wide web. We also partner with local groups to bring classes to the libraries.

Many of these classes fill up quickly, so please contact your branch regarding registration and availability.

You can also explore computer and internet classes at a variety of local institutions and web sites.

Introduction to Computers

All classes are free and all are welcome. This is a four-part class. If you have never used a computer before, this is for you!

All classes are held in the Computer lab on the 4th floor of the library. Please call 651-266-7000, ext. 5 to register.

Need computer instruction? Want to learn how to set up an e-mail account, use the computer to prepare a resume, or do research? Electronic Classroom

Free classes that will introduce you to computers, give you a chance to explore exciting new Web tools, and find out all about staying safe online.

Learning Lab
Monday - Thursday afternoons. Comptuers are available for learning about computers, job searches, resume writing, work-related activities, or homework. Staff and volunteers wil be on hand if you need help.

Volunteers answer questions about the internet and demonstrate how to use digital tools to voice concerns.
