Summer Spark encourages kids to have fun, stay active, and keep learning all summer long. Join in the fun by attending free programs at your library and earning prizes by completing reading and activity challenges!

Summer Spark for Kids

Kids can earn book prizes and be entered into drawings for prizes by reading (alone or with someone else) and/or completing fun activities. Visit your library to find out more and pick up reading and activity logs (or print your own). Prizes include family memberships to the Minnesota Science Museum or the Minnesota Children's Museum.


Teen Summer Spark: Your Summer. Your Choice.

Read and rate books (download our reading list or pick one up at your local library) of your choice and enter to win great prizes, including a Nintendo Switch and three games (just for teens!). Just for fun, stop by your local Saint Paul library and vote for your favorite summer read.
