The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library

Requesting Library Items

Use your library card to request items from the Saint Paul Public Library's collection. Up to 10 items may be requested per customer.

Up to 10 items may be requested per customer.

Requested items can be sent to any Saint Paul Public Library location.

When your items are ready for pick-up, the Library will notify you. (Find out how to sign up for e-mail notification.)

Items are held for 5 days at the pick-up location.

If the Saint Paul Public Library does not have what you are looking for, you can request items from other library systems through interlibrary loan.

Some items may not be requested electronically, including:

  • reference items
  • board books
  • readers
  • comic books
  • juvenile humor
  • items from the West 7th Street branch
